Germany is one of those countries that achieves a top result at the Eurovision Song Contest or is a complete disaster. This year’s representative of Germany is Jendrik with the song I Don’t Feel Hate. The song is very likable in its own way and it has nice lyrics but I personally don’t think it’s for the Eurovision scene.
This is one very enjoyable radio song, but I don’t feel like it’s competitive. On the other hand, last year’s selection of Ben Dolic and the song Violent Thing was a complete hit. That’s why I’m sad it didn’t get a chance in the competition because that song would surely be in the top 5. The song was fantastic.
Germany has taken a few steps back in this case and I think they will not achieve a good result in the final. As I said at the beginning they will be either first or last. I definitely wish all the best to Jendrik. 🙂
