I can’t write anything new that hasn’t already been known. Year after year, Ukraine presents high quality, when you think you’ve heard everything, they surprise you with something new and wonderful.
This year, Ukraine will be represented by Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil with the song Teresa & Maria. The song is amazing and beautiful, attracts attention immediately, and stands out. Many fans commented that the song is an ideal combination of the songs 1944 and Stefania, which brought Ukraine their second and third victories in just six years. I can agree with the fact that it has elements of both songs and yet it is unique.
The song has a certain spirituality and yet has that modern sound that blends perfectly with the rest of the song. Maybe many will disagree with me, but this is a song created to win. I don’t think she is overrated, but deserves all the praise and compliments.
Ukraine will undoubtedly qualify for the finals. Among the songs known so far, I think it can win televotes in the semi-finals. What will happen in the final is highly debatable. We are all aware of the fact that until the war ends, Ukraine cannot be the host of the Eurovision Song Contest, which in a certain way can affect the result of this song. Of course, that can be considered unfair, but a lot of things are not ideal at the Eurovision Song Contest.
If we ignore all the negative circumstances, I think that this song will be placed very high, top 3 for sure. I don’t think he will win the jury, I expect a maximum of the top 5 there, but he can win the televote. I won’t be surprised if Ukraine wins again because this is winning material and the song is perfect. Whatever happens, I wish the girls to win the best possible result.
