Since Switzerland started with internal selection, they keep offering us male singers, so now we’re all wondering if there are any female singers lol. If something works there is no need to complain, because with Luca Hanni, and Gjon’s tears who were serious contenders to win, we now have a serious favorite to win Eurovision.
The song begins quite theatrically, with a Broadway sound, it reminds me a bit of the singer Mika, who is very theatrical in his songs. The song begins quite theatrically, with a Broadway sound, it reminds me a bit of the singer Miko, who is very theatrical in his songs. After that comes an unexpected rap part that is very effective. The chorus is very powerful and leaves a strong impression. Then again the song takes us to something different, a miniature part where the singer is alone with his thoughts exposed in front of everyone, and then towards the end of the song again that Broadway moment which is The moment (the moment that brings victory).
This song is a strange combination of different musical elements, but perfectly composed. What I am sure of and I hope will be the case is that Nemo will probably sing this song perfectly. I’m sure he can do it. There is no need to talk about whether Switzerland will go to the final, but whether they will win or not. I think that along with France, Switzerland can certainly be a jury winner. We don’t have many “classic songs” that the jury prefers, so Switzerland will undoubtedly be in the top 2 for the jury. As for the televote, I don’t think he will be the first because there are stronger players who will win the televote. However, this is a very catchy song and that’s why I see Switzerland at least in the top 5 by televote. All in all, this is a very strong favorite to win Eurovision.
If the live performance is perfect, then it is reasonable to expect a victory for Switzerland, which would be great considering that they have not won since 1988. My rating for the song The Code is 10/10.
