With Germany, you never know what song they’ll choose, but it’s always the one you least expect, and that’s the case this year as well. Germany is represented by the metal band Lord Of The Lost with the song Blood&Glitter.
I love this type of music, and I’m glad we’ll have the chance to hear it in Liverpool. I like the song, it suits that kind of metal music. I’m expecting a turbulent performance, I’m expecting a shock on stage, but I hope it won’t be splashed with blood and glitter.
I can’t find any obvious fault with this song, but I don’t think it has any chance of being a potential winner. I’m even a little afraid that Germany could find itself at the very bottom of the table in the final. I don’t think the jury will be particularly captivated by this song, but maybe the audience will show some attention.
I like the German selection, but unfortunately, I don’t see too much success in the final. But I’m glad that they complement the theme of this year’s Eurovision, which is eccentricity. My rating with Blood&Glitter is 7/10.
