The lovable duo Fyr og Flamme arrives from Denmark. I have to admit that I was very surprised that the song was chosen in Danish. The song is very wacky, inviting to dance and it’s in the 80s style, which is obviously popular with most Eurovision songs this year.
The song is really sweet and cute. Watching their performance I had the impression that it was chosen performance for 1986, it has a disco vibe. They burst with positive energy which will surely attract the audience.
Given that Denmark is in the second semi-final group, the chances for the final exist. I don’t expect a significant result but I believe Fyr og Flamme will entertain people. It’s definitely a better choice compared to last year’s song Yes and I really support what Denmark has decided for entry in the mother tongue.
