This year’s representative of Norway is TIX with the song Fallen Angel. At first I only listened to the demo. The song is overall beautiful, but has no peculiarity in itself, everything is already seen.
My first association was as if this song was the background in some teen movie that evokes the love story of a young couple. After that, I watched the TIX performance. His performance and looks are incompatible with the song. I may be rough but he looks like Axl Rose with wings to me.
The song itself isn’t bad, but I didn’t like everything in the package. Like most, I believed Norway would re-elect the KEiiNO group, but it didn’t happen. There are high expectations from Norway every year, so I’m really a little disappointed.
Since Norway is in the semi-final group that we all consider a “death group”, I think it will be difficult to reach the final. It’s because of this choice I’m sad Ulrikke didn’t get another chance, as she might have a song again that can compete for a high ranking. We will see what the outcome is in May.
