Unfortunately, Ireland has been really struggling in the Eurovision contest for the past few years, but I really believe that it will return to its old glory one day.
And this year, a national contest was held, where the group Wild Youth won with the song Wa Are One. The song has a very pleasant sound, it inspires good energy and hope, and it’s nice to listen to it.
Radio-friendly song that brings a lot of positive emotions. It has a beautiful message. Maybe it’s a bit of a cliché that we’ve heard many times, but I personally like the song and would love to listen to it often. I can imagine “We Are One” as a good soundtrack for a humanitarian event that provides hope and welfare to people. This is how I feel about this song.
It may not be an overly competitive song, but with a suitable stage performance and vocal performance of the lead singer, I think this song can find its place in the final. Considering the countries that are in the same semi-final group as Ireland, it is difficult to expect a passage to the final, but I think it is not impossible.
It’s the public that decides who goes through to the final and I really believe they could favor Ireland this year.
With a few bad years, it is more likely that Ireland will not make it to the finals, but I believe this song will win the public over and it can go to the finals, I hope so. A simple, emotional song with a nice message, my fingers are crossed for Ireland. My rating for the song We Are One is 7/10.
