As expected, Norway is once again going strong toward the Eurovision Song Contest. Year after year they show the standard of high quality and how to choose a song.
This year Norway is represented by Alessandra with the song Quenn Of Kings. Alessandra gave an amazingly powerful and excellent performance that showed the spirit of her song. She impresses with her appearance and self-confidence and I am sure that she will leave a strong impression in Liverpool in the same way.
Her performance has all the elements that fulfill the needs of the Eurovision stage and I am quite sure that it will be at an even higher level. I like that the song contains the spirit of Norse mythology, ideally integrated into a modern sound.
Alessandra shows enviable vocal abilities. The lyrics of the song are very strong, you can feel the real feminist spirit. My only small complaint is the chorus, maybe I would like the rhythm to be different, but the song as a whole is very good.
There is no doubt that Norway is surely approaching the finals, and is currently the main candidate to win televote in the semi-finals. It is still not clear who are the potential favorites to win in May, but I think Norway can achieve a very high result. I’m sure that the televoters will definitely be on Alessandra’s side. In any case, I think we can expect big success for Norway in Liverpool. My rating for the song Queen Of Kings is 8/10.
